Dundee Programmes 2012
Following our successful programmes in 2011 and 2012 Medic Insight Dundee will again be running in 2013.
The aim of the programme is to provide you an insight into a career in medicine by offering exposure to different specialities such as Cardiology, Respiratory, Neurology,Dermatology, MaxFax and much more. If you have a particular interest in a certain area we will be giving you the opportuinty to expereince what you want to see and offering a range of other options. Along with sessions with the clinicians in the hospital or out in General Practice there will also be sessions run by medical students to allow you to gain an insight into what being a medical student is like and the different things involved such as group work and ethics. The medical students you work with during these sessions will be the medical studnets you see all week so you will have to opportunity to ask many different questions in order to gain an understanding of life as a medical student and work out if it is for you or not.

The weeks programme will vary from student to student but the sections marked will be together as a group.*
Applications for this year programme will open on the 1st of March 2012 and close 15th March 2012 however may close early due to demand.
Unfortunately we cannot cover any cost involved in travel or provide accommodation for any people who wish to attend the work experience placement.
